Position: Aviation Ground Handling Traffic Officer
- Job Title: Traffic Officer
- Department: Stations (Cairo, Hurghada, Sharm, Luxor, Aswan, Borg el arab, al alamin)
- Reporting to: Station Manager
- Employment Type: Contract
- Location: Egypt
- Start Date: Once employment documentation is received, and security check is cleared.
- Salary: 5,300 LE growth fresh graduates
- Experience staff offer after evaluation
- A training and evaluation period of 03 months will start at the first day of starting your job.
- Benefits: social insurance, medical insurance, monthly or quarterly bonus, overtime, certified training courses, daily allowance is added to salary in case of working out of Cairo.
- As an Aviation Ground Handling Traffic Officer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing ground traffic operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the movement of ground vehicles, equipment, and personnel to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Aircraft Handling:
• Coordinate and supervise the arrival and departure of aircraft.
• Collaborate with the flight operations team to ensure timely aircraft turnaround.
• Manage the allocation of parking stands and gates for arriving and departing flights.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations during aircraft handling operations.
Passenger Services:
• Coordinate passenger check-in and boarding processes.
• Monitor the availability of passenger facilities and services, such as lounges, immigration counters, and customs areas.
• Address passenger inquiries, complaints, and requests for assistance.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide a seamless passenger experience.
• Ensure compliance with airline and airport policies regarding passenger handling.
Cargo Operations:
• Supervise the handling and storage of cargo and mail shipments.
• Coordinate with cargo agents, ground handling staff, and customs authorities for efficient cargo operations.
• Monitor the accuracy of cargo documentation, including labeling, tracking, and customs clearance.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of cargo onto and from aircraft.
• Ensure compliance with international and local regulations governing cargo handling.
Safety and Security:
• Implement safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks during ground handling operations.
• Conduct regular safety and security audits to identify and address potential hazards.
• Collaborate with airport security and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with security regulations.
• Provide training and guidance to ground handling staff on safety and security procedures.
• Investigate and report incidents or accidents related to ground handling operations.
-Operational Efficiency:
• Optimize ground handling processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
• Monitor performance indicators and implement measures to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance, catering, and fuel services, to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with airline partners, ground handling agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in ground handling operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in aviation ground handling is preferable.
- Strong understanding of aviation operations and ground traffic management principles (experience only).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Sound decision-making skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with relevant software applications.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent command of English language, speaking, reading, writing.
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to safety.
